About Merrily

My Background

In January of 2017, my husband Todd died suddenly in a motor vehicle accident. To say it was a devastating loss would be an understatement. My world was turned upside down. My family and friends rallied, and were there for me in the best way they knew how. Even the simplest of tasks felt daunting. As time passed, and as the journey in grief continued, I realized I wanted to offer support to those who have suffered an extreme loss in a more personal and ongoing way. As such, I completed some additional training that would allow me to work more closely with people who would benefit from support and guidance in grief due to a death or other loss. As we work closely together, I will help you to navigate a path where you will no longer be in constant pain and discomfort. My goal is to work closely with my clients by way of practical and emotional support, to provide functional strategies for moving through all that has changed, while providing an empathetic and supportive environment to incorporate new skills and ways of experiencing life on a new landscape.

On a personal note, my big loves in life are all animals, large and small, as well as long walks in the forest, surrounded by the sounds of birds, trees swaying in the wind and babbling brooks. It is in these moments in nature where I experience the most peace.

I should take a moment to explain the name of my biz! I am lucky enough to live on a beautiful two and half acre parcel of land in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada, with two horses and a house bunny! The moon views are stunning, here, shining brightly across my property as if someone turned a light on! My very first horse had two foals, named Moonlight Storm and Moonlight Paris. Considering the lunar views, and pony names, Moonlight seemed fitting, with Junction incorporating the notion of change, manifesting, and newness as a connection between each now moment and the next where anything is possible.
