What It IS,
And What It ISN'T
When a person realizes they need assistance with a difficult issue, it is common to first consider therapy, counselling, or other mental health modalities. These fields of support are most definitely vital in certain circumstances and tend to focus on past experiences and how they have affected our current circumstances; however, if you find you are at a place where you want to make long-lasting change in your life, move forward in a way that is different from how you have experienced certain situations in the past, then my support services may be the right choice for you. The focus, here, is more in the present, conscious, day-to-day living, with the goal of achieving more awareness of current experiences, behaviours and so on, to promote long lasting positive change.
Most notably, I am NOT here to give advice, per se
This work is practical in nature, a collaboration between the client and professional to facilitate change. It is a recipe, if you will, of explanation, motivation with a dash of accountability and a pinch of stepping outside one's comfort zone!
What you'll gain by working me, is a chance to explore your personal experiences from a different perspective. By doing so, you come to know that you have already have all the answers inside you and you become accustom to trusting yourself as you navigate daily life, no matter the circumstances, whether they are challenging or joyous!
